Why has my account not been upgraded even after uploading my ID?
The most common reason is that you signed up with a mobile number which is not registered under your name as it appears on your ID. If this is the case, you can send the correct number to support@epayswift.com and we shall be glad to update it on your profile.

What if I do not have a PayPal account and my employer or donor can only pay me via PayPal?
As you might be aware, having a Ugandan PayPal account means you can not receive any payment. We however have a solution to this. If you are interested in getting more information on how to mitigate this handicap, click here, provide the requested information and we shall gladly get back to you.

How long does it take for me to receive my money once I have effected a withdrawal request?
Payouts to mobile wallets will take 24 hours to process. Currently we are releasing payouts to Ugandan mobile wallets between 6 pm and 7pm from Monday to Friday and 3 pm - 4 pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and during Kenyan public holidays.

What rate do you use to convert USD to UGX?
Exchange rates of the day are published on our site. Simply click on the fees link at the top of our website and you will have access to this information.

How do I determine how much money to expect on my phone once I initiate a withdrawal?
Simply visit the fees page, insert the amount you wish to withdraw in USD in the appropriate conversion calculator field and you will be able to determine the exact amount you will receive on your phone in UGX.

What is the procedure to withdraw from PayPal
1. Login to your account
2. Click on deposit funds link
3. Select PayPal and proceed on to the end as prompted by the system
4. Forward the transaction acknowledgement email you receive from payPal to support@epayswift.com. Note that you are supposed to FORWARD the email as is.
5. Your account will be credited with the amount deposited (less our deposit commission)
6. Click on the withdraw link, select your preferred withdrawal method and proceed on as prompted by the system.
7. Payouts will be effected once a day between 6pm - 7pm from Monday to Friday and between 3pm - 4pm on Saturdays.

What is the procedure to withdraw from Skrill

What is the procedure of depositing funds to a PayPal or Skrill account
1. Login to your account

3. Select MTN/Airtell and proceed on to the end as prompted by the system
4. Your account will be credited with the amount deposited (less our deposit commission)
5. Click on the withdraw link, select your preferred withdrawal method and proceed on as prompted by the system.
6. Your Paypal/Skrill account upload will be done between 6pm - 7pm from Monday to Friday and between 3pm - 4pm on Saturdays

Can I withdraw from a PayPal or Skrill account which is not in my name?
The answer is NO. We shall refund funds withdrawn from a third party followed by a possible limitation of your ePay Swift account.

Which mobile networks do you remit funds to?
Currently we are supporting remittances to MTN and Airtel only.

Can I signup with a mobile number which is not registered in my name?
We do not allow the use of third party mobile numbers and if you attempt to use such a number, your account will not be upgraded, meaning you can not be allowed to initiate any transaction.

How many transactions can I initiate in a day?
You can only initiate one (1) transaction in a day.

Can I send money from a PayPal account in any other jurisdiction besides Uganda?
Yes, for accounts domiciled in the following countries: UK, USA, Kenya, and Australia. For any other jurisdiction, you will need to consult with us. Transactions from un-authorized jurisdictions will be refunded and your ePay account status reviewed.

Can I upload funds to my PayPal or Skrill Account?
Yes you can. Simply login to your account, click on the Deposit Money link, select MTN/Airtel as your deposit option and proceed on as prompted by the system to the very end. Once your deposit has been confirmed, you can then click on the Withdraw Money link, select PayPal or Skrill, provide your PayPal or Skrill account email address and proceed to the end. Your PayPal or Skrill account will be credited within the hour during our official working time.
